SKThe apartment has a soul feeling to it and is extremely spacious with a fully functioning kitchen and most importantly a balcony perfect for drinking coffee from the available coffee machine and staring at the lively street life under. As if you were staying at someones house. The host was reachable by whatsapp and gave us the keys with the instructions. It is very close to the city center and the attractions Bratislava has to offer. The building feels safe.

SKThe host met us in front of the building and explained everything, even tho everything was explained in the manual. There is many cafes around and a Lidl among other groceries 3min away. There is a street of bars next to the building but none of the noise made it into the apartment.

BYCheck-in denied at 11 PM – no refund issued. The apartment was fully prepaid via Booking.com. Upon arrival at 11 PM, the host demanded an additional deposit via a third-party site (ChargeAutomation) – a condition not clearly stated during booking. We refused, offered to cancel the reservation and receive a refund. The host agreed, saying he would do it later, but never returned the money or provided access. I later sent him a direct message, but received no reply. We were left late at night, in an unfamiliar city, with children, without accommodation or support. If a deposit is required, payment should only be processed after it’s made – not in advance. Booking.com was unable to help or reach the host. Do not recommend.
