Horizon Hotel

The raisen brand cereal was good.

Hot tub broken. No ice machine, just ice in refrigerator- ice cube trays- only 4. Hallway carpet dirty. Chair in room heavily stained. Guest laying in hallway talking loudly on phone. Did not give password for wi-fi, when I asked for it, they gave incomplete password. Staff not trained properly. Electric cords stretched across hallways, vacuumed hallways too early. Hallway lights filthy with dead bugs, vents black with dirt.

The breakfast was great, with lots of options from waffles, cereal, pastries and toast to boiled eggs and some fresh fruit. It was nice that breakfast was available until 10:00 a.m. Coffee was available via a Keurig machine. I appreciated that my room was spacious and had a small refrigerator and a microwave.

The hallways were really stinky with cigarette and other smells, and my room smelled of cigarettes as well, although not as much as the hallways. The hallway outside my room was very noisy between the hours of 10:00 pm and midnight -- a family with several children apparently were living in the room across from mine, and they were continually going in and out of their room at that time, banging the door and stomping through the hall. One night after midnight there were several people from that room standing outside my door talking loudly. I opened my door and asked them if they could perhaps talk in their room instead of the hallway, and they basically told me they could do whatever they wanted. As far as I know there wasn't anyone "in charge" at the hotel after 10:00 p.m., so no one to complain to.

Hard to say- staff was friendly.

At 3 am two people are yelling at each other about why one ended up in jail. The hotel had a funny smell. Rooms seemed kind of dark

The correct name on the sign, it used to be a super 8, And that is what the current sign shows. Could not find a horizon inn,

This was a hotel 8 and they changed the name. GPS could not find it and had to call to get direction. Shower trickled out water. There was a large blood stain on the floor between the two beds. I was afraid to take off my shoes. Dryer did not work. Gave me another room to dry my hair and the wall dryer was torn off the wall. Wow, not worth a $100 per night charge.
