Poor to no WiFi

The entrance. This is probably the worst place that we have had the misfortune to stay in anywhere in the world. It was a horrible first night in eSwatini. In fact, we hated our stay here so much, that we left the whole country the next day. We just wanted to get out. A far cry from what we had stayed in the previous nights. It put a horrible taste in our mouth. Before our arrival, the owner told us to send him a bank transfer to guarantee our booking. We refused to do such an insecure thing. He threatened us that our room may not be available if we don't. We now wish it wasn't kept for us!! They were quick enough to communicate with us about money, but on other queries, they were not to be found. While we were there, they were of no help whatsoever. When we arrived, it was a cold wet night. Even though the kitchen was open, the host never thought of offering us to have dinner. He was too busy attending his more important guests, a busload of rich German tourists. They were more important than us two, and we felt it. He finally showed us to our room. It was horrible. It felt like he threw us out in the pigs pen, to a room that was never ever used. It was filty, cold, wet, and with paint coming off the walls. There was nothing but a tiny heater to help heat the room. We left it on all night, but it was still freezing in the morning. The 'shower' was just a dribble of water that never got hot from a filthy old faucet. We complained it but he didn't care. He basically mumbled that because we were at the end, we got the leftover warm water, etc. He told us to use the PUBLIC showers across the way. It was so cold that we had to use these showers to heat up. It was too late to move on elsewhere. We had to walk in the pouring rain to go elsewhere to use a public shower. Disgusting. The wifi was also off during ALL of our unfortunate visit there. The staff were all cold and rude. The manager didn't care. And breakfast was terrible.
