Forest Glades

this was a gem. beautiful property in nature with everything you need. 20mins from built up areas (amazing beaches and restaurants), but safely tucked away in the countryside. the starry nights were outstanding. our hosts were very accommodating. you can really 'get away from it all' here!

when there is no power the generator kept things going - but this was only for a short time and didn't affect our enjoyment

What a gem this is! Not far out of Knysna yet so peaceful. The cabin is very comfortable and the best part is waking up to the birds early morning.

It was just perfect. Well equipped, clean, stunning location, quiet and Pieter is so helpful and friendly. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a most wonderful 4 days

Location was great for us as we wanted to be close to the restaurants and shops. We absolutely loved the fact of the monkeys that came to visit during our morning coffee. Peter was a super host and checked in quickly when we needed something. Awesome place to stay, fantastic service and surroundings, we’ll be back.

Because of this property being off the grid, we did have to use power sparingly at times as this was in winter and the sunlight wasn’t always 100% but this was a minor issue as the majority of our boxes for the stay were ticked.

We did self-catering, but Tea, coffee, milk etc was provided. Beautiful area not too far from town and very quiet and peaceful.
