Damask Resort

We stayed in a truly amazing villa. Everything is new, clean, and spaceous. The villa had 5 big full size bedrooms with bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless clean and comfortable. The living and dining room were spaceous and well-decorated (the whole villa was well-decorated). The villa had a small indoor swimming pool. Although the size is small, it was still amazing feature, in a well-heated room and the water was nice and warm. They even provided a safety jacket for the kids. Check-in and Check-out was fast, with a nice welcoming drink and snack. All staff is friendly and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were of good quality. The breakfast was not huge, but everything was fresh and tasty. In the night they had an outdoor cinema for the kids. It was a cold night, but with blankets and a heater, my kids loved the experience to watch a movie under the stars.

Although the accomodation is in the middle of the mountains, it doesn’t have the most beautiful views of this amazing area in Oman. But there are many viewpoints in the surrounding area.

Spacious villa, clean facilities

Villa pool was way oversold, it was VERY small, more of a jacuzzi without jets. Temperature was Luke warm. View was not great (was supposed to be a mountain view). Tea and coffee equipment in the villa was very limited. There was no milk available. There was a welcome cake but no plates or silverware to eat it with. No outside food was allowed on the premises.

Nice and quaint, private villas, away from the hustle of other tourists. Self sufficient place, perfect for a quiet getaway.

Limited Vegetarian food options.

The staff were so friendly and helpful anf were always looking for us and ready to fulfill our needs. The food at the restaurant is so nice and delicious. The resort is peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Jabal Akhdar.
