Western Lodge

This was the grossest place we have ever stayed and we travel a lot. The floor and baseboards were covered in mud, dust and hair. The shower was moldy. Walls and doors were covered in dirty hand prints and who knows what else. There was dirt pretty much every where you looked… & don’t even get me started about underneath the beds. We live in Breckenridge and travel to Steamboat often to snowmobile and we have stayed at many other hotels in the area and know this is not normal. I sat in the car most of the time we were at the motel so I didn’t feel as dirty. I’m not a complainer, but this wasn’t ok. The road is also very noisy, but it would have been fine if it was clean. We were very disappointed and won’t be back.

Great location and friendly staff. Close to downtown to walk to restaurants and get on bus stop for ski hill. The place was very dirty though, the bathroom completely disgusting with dirt and grime along the baseboards - in the bathroom and shower wall/floor.

It was not clean, felt unsanitary. The photos sure fooled me with all the remodels and updates. Don’t fall for the aesthetics- the place was very dirty.

Bed and sheets were comfortable.

Dog hair throughout the unit.

Property needs to hire more housekeeping staff.

Seem like took forever for our room to be ready was told by front desk only one housekeeping staff work in the whole property.

Friendly stuff, renovated bathroom, clean bed

Old building with bag smell. Hardly working door locks. Not completely finished renovations, some furniture missing, safe is on the floor and missing. At night the heater was too noisy and we could hardly sleep. Too expensive for such low quality.

Took some to figure out the heat/air-conditioning unit
