Ringo Cottage

Ringo Cottage is well appointed with excellent facilities. It is warm and welcoming in a quiet, pretty location. We used local taxis for all our trips, which was very easy and convenient. We skied at Hakuba 47, which is very close, and Happo One, which is only slightly further away. Both are very convenient. We would highly recommend it. For ski hire we highly recommend Spicy who have excellent, new and extensive equipment. They have modern new boots and really excellent knowledge. Also very reasonable. Thank you to Maki and Henry, who are delightful hosts. We had the pleasure of meeting them both. 😀

Everything fabulous! Clean well equipped and very good location! Had hotpot for dinner as Big supermarket was nearby.

No blinds in room so the rooms were bit bright from outside light. Maybe we could install a projector and audio since we have a big door in front of sofa. Current TV is too small.

Great location, you can reach every after skiing resorts easily by car. I think it was the most quiet place Since six years we are coming to Hakuba. Super nice owners!

One or two more pans for cooking, maybe some bowls would be helpful.

Ringo Cottage was clean, very comfortable and provided us with everything we needed for living in Hakuba for the week that we were there to ski. The house was well warmed, beds comfy, and kitchen facilities were good. We loved the ski/boot facility on entry to the house which made life easy at the beginning and end of the day. Ski slopes were close. We hired a car so a drive to the slopes, shops and restaurants were never more than 5 to 10 minutes away, so was very convenient. Our hosts Maki and Henry were wonderful. From the moment we chose to stay at Ringo to the day we left they were so incredibly helpful. I asked endless questions which were all answered promptly, they were a wealth of information from restaurants to ski slopes/ ski schools to taxi’s, trains and buses. They also worked tirelessly clearing the huge amounts snow from around the house to ensure we always had easy access to our abode. We are so grateful for their input which made our ski trip to Hakuba so special.

Very comfortable accommodation with ample heating (winter). Modern amenities inside. Quiet location looking towards Goryu Ski Resort. Cottage owners assured access to the driveway and pathway to the cottage following heavy snowfall.
