Wonderful garden and amazing sea view

Somewhat unwelcoming atmosphere, cold room (heaters didn’t work even though we were told they are going to), very limited restaurant menu and no tea kettle in the rooms.

Great location, with a beautiful garden and sea view. It was relatively empty (dead week just before midsummer) and we enjoyed the calm of the place. The restaurant and breakfast was fine. The room (Villa Emiliero superior 32) was old fashioned with a perfect view. Bed was very confortable. We recommend strongly to visit Ystad and to go to JH matbar. One of best food experience we had in Sweden (very inexpensive comparing to similar venue in Stockholm)

Ventilation was a problem both in room and bathroom. For the room (old fashion) it is just about opening windows (not done by the staff, leaving bad smell). For the bathroom (no windows), the very noisy fan clearly needed to be fixed or replaced. The products (soap and oil) were a bit disappointing for a spa hotel, especially when looking at composition. The old style could be a plus if pushed more (maybe even removing TV) and proposing natural products. A old fashion letter could let you know about the room and giving instructions at the same time. No coffee or tea in the room and it is even not available in lobby in evening to push you towards the bar (poor choice for non alcoholic beverages) We did not visit the pool or spa. It felt simple and from another time from outside. We did not feel welcome at the reception.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet setting. Views to the sea are amazing. Staff is very friendly. Because there were few guests staying, we were upgraded to a better room, which was amazing. Breakfast was good, with everything you would need to get your day started.

The resort is up on a hill in the small village of Kvikik. Everything is beautiful. The village, the sea, views from our room, the area. We could walk everywhere. It is a quiet area, but beautiful sea and marina. IF the weather were warmer, we could have easily swam. The resort is very modern and chic. The rooms is spacious and comfortable. The staff are super. Because the room was available, we were given a free upgrade. The breakfast was excellent. In addition to the typical Scanda buffet, you can also have hot items poked to order. Lots to tour an see in the area.

Extremely high prices on the food in the restaurant, it's over the top. And the menu choices are also limited. The staff at the restaurant need to be more mature, better trained and more experienced if the restaurant wants to keep pretending there is some kind of a fine-dining style. For example they should at least know about their wine selection and which wine would be recommended for which dish. We asked our waiter and they didn't know. The breakfast was a joke. We get it, the products are organic and mostly apple-based but served in tiny portions on the buffet, And the variety is too little....the warm options were below mediocre. The spa area is too small, too tight, the water doesn't feel very clean. The bathroom in the room was very slippery, there was no drying mat provided in the shower, my partner slipped and fell on the ground when he got into the shower after me and the shower area was wet. we later discovered one fo the towels provided on the "bed sheets" was a shower drying mat. Why was it not put/hung in the shower in the first place!!

Great view, amazing dinner, a cozy room and friendly staffs! The dinner well exceeded our expectations.
