Mimosa Studio

It was nice and clean.

It's a clean studio flat in a block of studio flats with quiet neighbours.

A small TV and a microwave may be useful.

This is a tiny gem of a studio, immaculately clean and remarkably well-organized. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. I was very impressed with how well they used this little candy box of a location. It's reasonably close to the Faculty of Letters at UBBI, and easy to find and an easy location from which to book an Uber. Public transport isn't very easy from here, but not impossible- there is a bus every 30 minutes, that is a six-minute walk from the garconiera. It's only an 8-minute walk from the UBBI Department of Letters, easy to find in an Uber. The owners clearly do everything they can to make it welcoming - there is fruit and candy, tea and coffee, with an excellent coffee maker and a kettle. I did not use the kitchen facilities but they are perfect for a little garconiera. The bathroom is immaculate and stocked with shower gel, shampoo and quality soap. They have all the small appliances you might need. I would gladly stay here again on my annual visit to the Facultate de Litere.

There were only two minor problems that are not the fault of the owners. One, the front of the apartment bloc is dark at night, so you will need to use your phone for a light to open the little lockbox. The second small problem, which I am sure could not be helped, is that after months of weather above 30 degrees Celsius, there was a sudden drop in temperature to 11 degrees with very cold rain. The heat was not yet turned on, and there is no separate climate control. I was wet, my clothes were wet, and i was quite cold but thanks to the kettle I quickly made hot tea and changed to something dry and warm. It would have been nice to have climate control in the room, but at this price you can't have everything. The tea kettle and warm shower made everything right within minutes. It is not well-served by public transport, but the city center is only 15 minutes walk and Facultate de Litere is only 8 minutes by foot. The bus comes every 30 minutes and is 6 minutes away.

Clean and cosy, nearby old town.

Great place for 1 person. All you need is there. Near the train station and walking distance to the center as well.
