Old Town studio

La ubicación es excelente, justo al lado de la Calea Victoriei, a un minuto del restaurante famoso Caru Cu Bere y del Monasterio Stravropoleos. Todo queda cerca para ir caminando, pero el bus en Bucarest es una opción muy económica y sencilla para conocer la ciudad. El apartamento está bien, es interior y muy silencioso. Tuvimos un contratiempo con la luz pero se esforzaron por resolverlo lo antes posible. La entrada desde la calle no parecía lo que luego te encontrabas dentro, la sala principal con cama, sofá y TV tenía el tamaño perfecto para estar cómodos. La cocina pequeñita pero con lo necesario y el baño( la única estancia con luz natural desde un patio de luces)podría estar un poco mejor. Tuvieron el detalle de dejarnos zapatillas, café de cápsulas, etc. y estuvieron pendientes días después por si tenían que reponer alguna necesidad de la cocina o el baño, tipo jabón, papel higiénico, etc. Nosotros somos viajeros todo terreno y estuvimos bien en el alojamiento, la verdad.

El tema de llegar y que solo hubiera luz en el cuarto de baño fue una contrariedad que trataron de solucionarnos lo antes posible a pesar de que el electricista tuvo que ir en dos ocasiones, también el baño podría estar en mejor estado. Pero yo creo que lo peor de todo es el portal en obras, nosotros llegamos a las tres de la mañana por horario del vuelo y a esa hora ver el cristal de la puerta roto y el portal a medias nos produjo cierta inquietud.

Hava sıcak olduğundan dolayı özellikle klimalı bir konaklama tercih ettim ama klima çalışmıyordu. Bununla alakalı olarak ev sahibi ile iletişime geçtim ve yardım istedim. Klimanın fişini çıkartıp tekrar takmamı istediler. En az 3 metre yükseklikte olduğu için erişemeyeceğimi söyledim. Ondan sonra mesaj yazmayı ve yardımı bıraktı.

Beautifully decorated, so close to all local amenities. Hosts are very attentive, and make sure everything is ok after you've checked in and that you're at ease.

Mosquitoes in the shower, but I suppose to be expected in such a warm climate.

Great location and size good deal

No windows and broken lights, took 3 days to get fixed without real update by the owner. Communication could have been better. Nonetheless good value for price I paid and at the end of the day I didn't really care. It's their choice how to run the business. Was only there for 4 nights and got a good deal because place was damp from a recent water damage and my laundry took 4 days to dry as if I was in a tropical place, same with the bathroom took 24 hours to dry after taking shower

Was nice room comfortabel bed. For 1 night location and this price

Theroom have not really day light so if I know that then book another room. So think about before booking.

Location and coffee machine

It was unbearably cold . No window and shower without a door.

The location was great, and the building itself had a unique charm. The corridor and the old-fashioned style of the surroundings were quite interesting.

However, there were several issues. The apartment I stayed in had no proper window with natural light. The only window led to the bathroom, which itself had a tiny window facing a wall. This meant that during the day, I had to keep the artificial lights on, but the lighting in the apartment was poorly planned and quite dim. At night, it was even worse - there was no proper light source, making the space uncomfortable and even a bit eerie. Towels were exhausted and very grey. Another issue was the strange and illogical design choices. There were too many artificial flowers, which didn’t fit at all. The TV was very small and uncomfortable to use - it would have been better to have a normal-sized one or none at all. And then there was a very odd garden setup with artificial grass and random gnome and mushroom figures, which felt like they belonged in a kindergarten or an outdoor lawn, not in an apartment. They served no purpose and only made the space feel even more unsettling. The third major problem was the heating. It turned on and off by itself, making the temperature unpredictable. At times, the apartment became so cold that I had to wear all my sweaters, and then suddenly, the heat would turn back on, making it somewhat bearable. It was so cold that I couldn’t even bring myself to take a shower because stepping into the freezing bathroom was unbearable. On top of that, the air conditioner didn’t work, either due to the remote control or the unit itself. The most disappointing part was the communication with the host or the administrators. At first, there was a mix-up with the keys, but they responded quickly and solved it. However, later, when I decided to leave after the first night (though the booking was for three nights) and asked if any refund or adjustment was possible, they completely stopped responding. I understand that Booking.com’s policy might not allow it, but I just wanted to check if they were willing to be flexible.
