Real feeling of getting away from the busy life, such as in Manila. Apparently, it's more of a getaway location for local Philipino people that live for example in Manila and there are no real facilities in the surroundings (we did not do any research). The staff was very helpful and offered to cook us a meal, the main course being one of the many chickens that walk around freely on the campsite. Shortest food supply chain I've ever experienced. However, do not expect restaurants etc around there. Beautiful surroundings for hiking. Locals convinced us we needed to pay entry and a guide for certain hikes but we've sneaked our way in.

It's quite difficult to get there. We took a Grab from Manila but we could not proceed with the last 20 minutes of road because it was a rough terrain (but there are enough friendly people around to help you get to the last bit).
