Marameo House

I liked everything, amazing location, close to restaurants and shopping village, close to the port and town piazza. Ilaria the host was very attentive and responsive. The house was great and comfortable, freshly renovated. Parking was organised externally, however very easy to organise. Highly recommended!

Nothing 🫠

Absolutely beautiful property. The property is physically beautiful, with every amenity you could want (washer, full kitchen, rooftop deck, 3 beautiful sleeping areas with comfortable beds, 2 beautiful bathrooms). In addition the property is in the Historic City Center. Simply walk out the door, and you are there, yet internally, the property is very quiet. The management team is wonderfully responsive, and very helpful. Lastly, there is a discount included if visiting and dining at the Marameo Beach Club. Our group has been to Sorrento 5 times, and this is the most beautiful property we have stayed at. Thank you, Marameo House!!

There is nothing I could possibly say that is negative. The property is beautiful.

The apartment was spacious and cool with plenty of a/c units. The kitchen was well kitted out. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Everything felt clean and fresh. Luigi was always at the end of the phone if we needed him. A very nice guy.

The living room needs a sofa. The only seats are hard dining chairs not suitable when you want to relax. The bedroom in the living area should have a screen or curtain for some privacy. There should be a guest book with instructions on how to use a/c etc. The roof terrace has such potential but with no shade and only 2 loungers (1 broken) we all couldn’t use it. The main bathroom shower door leaks, so bathroom was wet every time we had a shower. Luigi did try and get it fixed but they didn’t have the right door seal. Kitchen needs more glasses and a teapot for the tea drinkers.

Amazing location right in the middle of the old town, we were surprised how quite the apartment was at night, we thought it might be noisy as it was right in the middle of the main area but it was not.

Could have done with more seating and table on the terrace but the terrace was great overlooking the town.

We loved our stay at Marameo House. Luigi was a fantastic host with great communication. The location was excellent, right in the pedestrianised historic centre of Sorrento. Only a 10 min walk from the train station to get further afield or back to the airport. Place was light, airy and the AC was much appreciated in the July heat. The roof terrace was also great to sit out on at the start/end of the evening and soak up the atmosphere from below. Also there is actually an iron and a hairdryer (2!) which wasn’t on the inventory and so needn’t have brought mine.

Note the room layout is very open plan, which is fine for families but more tricky if you are sharing with friends! The dishwasher didn’t work, but this wasn’t too much of an issue for us.

We couldn't have asked for a better location. I also loved that it had a big balcony.

It would have been nice to have a garden table and chairs. They did have two sun loungers which was good.
