We chose this lodge because having previously lived in the area for many years we knew that the facility itself (not necessarily the management) had been around for a very long time. Although convenient for local attractions (Fourways Mall, Montecasino etc.) and the room wasn't too bad, though rather small, the whole experience was ruined by a blocked drain in the bathroom. This manifested in grey water rising up through the drain in the shower when the shower taps were opened, accompanied by a bad smell. I asked for another room, but for some reason the receptionist was clearly reluctant to oblige - and offered as an excuse the unlikely story that our room was the only one with wifi! Remarkable! We didn't shower that night...

Fix the plumbing.

The place is nice and clean, lovely stuff as well
