ROAt first sight the apartment is impressive. It's nice to see how a genuine Sicilian town house looks like. The rooms are big and well furnished. I appreciate the fact that there's a washing machine.
The kitchen wasn't that clean. We left a loaf of bread (inside the wrapping) on the counter and a few hours later it was covered with ants !! The apartment wasn't that clean, kitchen utensils and bathroom could have been better cleaned. There was rust and pieces of debris coming out of the faucet. The bathroom ( specially the bathtub) wasn't clean.
CZGreat quiet location within walking distance to the historic centre of Ortigia. Free parking is available on the street directly in front of the house or in the immediate vicinity (our stay was at the end of October 2024). The apartment is on the first floor of the house and is split over 2 floors - downstairs entrance hall, dining room and fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, ironing facilities etc and also a small balcony. Upstairs 2 spacious double bedrooms and a large bathroom. Communication with the accommodation provider was efficient and without any problems - he is very helpful and reliable.
