"Nice and quite place to relax, the rooms just need a bit of a revamp"

The guesthouse is well-located and easily accessible. The housekeeping lady was exceptional, welcoming, and always willing to help us settle in and feel at home.

The painting in the bathroom and fittings need attention, as there were visible stains and the fittings were pilling. The mattress for the bed needs to be replaced. When you sleep, you sink into the middle of the bed. I had sore hips on the day of my comrades' marathon and had to work hard to take the pains away before the start.

"Prison"

We hardly spent any time there. We came back to sleep and bathe; that's it. We were watched like criminals.

The owners live in the same house as you. We rented the whole place, but we had so many rules for visitors and the braai area. Worse, they tell you to set the alarm at 10 pm. And come sneak peek at the room to see what you're doing. Everything was just bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. It felt like jail, no freedom for being on holiday. We spent so much time outside the area, and only came back to sleep. Never again. Do not go there!!!

"Good"

The place was clean and neat .

The shared the kitchen space make its very inconvenient and if you stay longer than a day thers no change of towels and beddings...my partner and I didn't like either of those. Also we are not free to exit and come in as we please after midnight.

"Uncomfortable"

The views are lovely

When I booked this place it did not state that I would be in an apartment with a door that cant lock by the entrance..plus theres people using the kitchen and banging things late at night at early parts of the morning..I was very uncomfortable as you cant be yourself because of people coming in and out the kitchen bathroom is out of the room so its uncomfortable having unknown people around and going to bath etc..felt like a hostel ..beds make loud noises...wont be booking here again..staff were excellent tho
