The booking.com listing details and what you get when you arrive are very different.

There is no sea view from the rooms as stated in the advert. There are certain sections of the property where you get a distant sea view. There was no washing machine as stated in the booking when I made my booking. Only certain rooms have dedicated tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have the bathroom separate from the room. Towels are changed once every three days. It would be best if the listing made this known so that prospective guests have a choice whether they want to stay in a place with these kinds of facilities and service. The most frustrating experience was the amount of noise made by other guests which went unchecked during listed quiet hours, especially in the common areas where my room was (it did not state that this was the location of my room when I booked it). Added to this was the condition in which the common areas were left after guests used them. Parking was an issue almost always when it comes to availability and where you park. The midnight curfew is something that should also be stated in the advert. The air conditioning should not be disconnected in certain areas as the heat in Durban is unbearable and leaving the windows open means that pests and monkeys wander in and out at will.

The cleanliness of the facility and the distance to activities

The noise of other guests at night and the banging of the doors as was scary. Being refused to do laundry while it was stipulated that there was a washing machine in the package I chose, it was unfair.

The location and the quiet quality it had .

Not having access to the jacuzzi, braai stand and washing machine even though on our description is stated that those things were included as a package.

Our stay at this property was incredibly disappointing. The host constantly invaded our privacy, barging in unannounced and complaining about trivial matters. It felt as though we were being watched the entire time, which made us uncomfortable and unable to relax. The lack of respect for our personal space was unacceptable, and it ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable week with friends. If you value your privacy and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
