Kenzavi Suite

I like the location (5 mins walking to the station, 3 mins to a nearby bakery or a supermarket), their convenient bathroom, their spacious bedroom, their beautiful cat.

The communication could have been faster. But I understand that they are too busy.

Bathroom is very dark and light bulb doesn't provide enough light. Access to bathroom is not directly from the room but from common stairs. On the stairs is also the kitchen sink. The room doesn't have much of a sound isolation: birds on the roof can be heard like they are inside, not to mention tremendous noise from construction site across the street. Otherwise it's a very quiet neighborhood. But the biggest problem is the smell of asian cuisine that comes from ground floor home delivery business, through the stairs, which starts very early in the morning and goes on to mid night. The smell is very heavy.

Despite the very high ratings and very positive reviews, I was still surprised how great this place was, on many different levels. - Check-in was easy, efficient, and swift: low friction with a very friendly "Just call us if you need anything!". - The room really is a suite; very spacious, airy and nicely appointed. Dining table, dresser, large bed, lounge corner with sofa and huge TV with Netflix etc... Even a foot massager, which unfortunately I didn't get to try. The room is also equipped with small fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. - Plenty of easy access plug outlets - I was charging a phone, tablet, and laptop simultaneously. Seems trivial but in many other instances I find my myself unplugging lights, or crawling under desks etc... to find a plug to charge my phone. - The bathroom is outside the bedroom but is exclusive use (the whole upper floor is a single unit) so privacy is assured. Bathroom is nicely warmed (makes winter mornings easier) and there were plenty of towels. - The bed warrants a special mention: incredibly comfortable and I really slept well, also because location is a quiet residential area with no traffic or other noise. Top marks! - Parking is on street, but in the 4 days I stayed there I always found space directly in front of the building. - I didn't check out the area, but seems there is easy access to supermarkets, shops, etc...

- If you're travelling into Eindhoven during morning rush hour, be prepared for traffic. Not a criticism of the place itself of course, but the trip takes longer than you'd expect given the short physical distance.

If ‘all the food and drinks in the minibar is free’ I was hoping there would be a little more than 1 can of Coke 😉

The place was tidy, clean and warm. It had coffee, tea, plates and cutlery. The staff was very welcoming. Close to AH, other stores and cafés. The town was lovely and quiet.

Not sure if you can use public transport to get there easily, for sure car is the easiest option.
