Location in Bari Vecchio perfect. Next to ocean and close to everything in Oldtown.

For me I need more windows yet it had a nice screen door to shared patio which in a warmer climate would be great to use

I booked Il Cortiletto for a 4night stay with my brother. I loved and liked everything about this place, and to any future person looking to rent this place, I assure you that you will not miss with choosing them. For starters, I want to express how nice, sweet and hospitable are owners Vittoria and Nunzia. We were warmly welcomed by Vittoria and her family with a gift of soft and warm homemade Focaccia that was delicious! And one of the other nights, Vittoria gave us some Panzerotti (also homemade by her). She was next door and ready to help with any inquiries that you might have. Nunzia (her sister) that I spoke to through Whatsapp is just as amazing! With her help, I managed to book private car tours to nearby towns, and Nunzia even helped us get a discount for tours! (At Andrea Vento Viaggi agency if anyone wants to look more into.) Nunzia would check on me and my brother daily, if we needed help with anything and to give us suggestions what and where to eat, or just give information on bunch of questions that I had about Bari. ♥️ As for the apartment itself, it is furnished with everything you might need. From body and hair shampoo, conditioner, towels, iron and hair dryer to a whole basket of snacks. The apartment is small (bedroom and bathroom) as shown on the pictures, but it is easy to get around, plus you get access to garden furniture. If I come back to Bari in future, I am definitely booking at this place again! I suggest this place to all solo travelers, couples, friends or siblings that are traveling to Bari ♥️

There isn't anything that I didn't like about this property.

The room was sparkling clean. The decor was beautiful, everything was done with love. The location in the old town, it felt like you were in another era or in a movie. There are many restaurants with delicious food nearby. We arrived late in the evening, but the owners gave us instructions and helped us find the address, although it was not easy in the maze of narrow streets. Victoria baked us a delicious flatbread with cheese (I don't know the exact name). We liked our stay in Bari very much.

Il Cortiletto is located in the historic Bari Vecchia and offers all the charm you could expect. You are steps away from cafe's, restaurants, etc, and a short walk to attractions such as Bari's famous churches, castle, and more. You are short walk from the Lungomare which offers great views and a straight path to Piazza Mercantile, the marina, and Piazza Ferase. Getting to location isn't hard but you may wish to get a taxi from the train station and there are public bus routes to consider which will get you closer. Just have your mobile phone GPS pinned to the location address. Also room had coffee / espresso machine, a basket of snacks and room refrigerator.

Everything was quite nice, the owner was responsive to phone messages and thanks to google translate we were able to communicate quickly. Now the shower in bathroom is quite small but my 6'2" husband managed so it's not a negative. Just be aware that if you a larger person it could be an issue.

The location was wonderful.The woman was very kind and quite caring. She had left us watermelon and croissants for breakfast. They were patient because our flight was delayed and they were understanding with us. I recommend this apartment, it's worth a lot.

Very close to the beach, there are many restaurants nearby

The scent is a bit too strong, which may be uncomfortable for people who cannot tolerate strong scents.

It was just magical! I 100% recommend this to everyone! The best hospitality, croissants for breakfast, I will be going back for sure!
