It was a place to sleep, wasn’t anything too fancy. The room could have been more clean, the windowsill had lots of dead bugs on it. Room had a old dusty smell to it
They dont change their sheets between guest stays....Checked in on a Wed noticed a stain on sheet..Checked out and ended up checking back in due to hwy closure..Asked if i wanted same room as night before..Walked into "Cleaned" room to see same stain as night before..
This is an old hotel, and it has been around for a while. Therefore, it was not new and modern; which is no problem for me. It was quiet, most of the time. There was some passing traffic occasionally and I train whistle on a couple of occasions, but, for me, reasonable. As for shopping: there is a grocery store, a gas station, a pizza parlor all within walking distance as well as an attractive swimming area nearby. I got a good nights sleep, which is why I stayed there.
It was showing its age. Curtains didn't close all the way, bathtub had chips, and there was daylight under the entry door. But it was clean and relatively quiet, despite facing the highway/railroad.

We stay here every year at this time, the property is improving, the staff is great & always great to see them
USHad a great time during my stay, owners/ staff seem very nice. Hotel is much nicer than alot of reviews lead on. All ammenities/ utilities worked, bed was clean, carpet had sone funny stains but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. If you aren't in Arlington for work Im not sure why you would be there but it is a good place to lay your head at night with a decent shower and good hard working owners.
