Winmar Cabins

Very nice , clean cabin. Everything what we need to relax and prepare for big hiking challenge next morning. Maybe not for picky guests , but perfect for us. Thank you

Very rustic inside, very homey.

Clean enough and location

One of the two beds was broken. It was obnoxiously loud and squeaky with every small movement. This kept both guests waking up over and over again each night.

Very clean, simple but well appointed

The property is located at a crossroad away from Twin Lake. The cabin was simply very basic.

The location was excellent for what we were there to do. Cabins were cozy but dusty from the gravel parking lot. We needed to open the door for air flow to cool the cabin at night. When you check in, the white board tells you your cabin number and keys are in the door. Easy to use. We never spoke to the owners while we were there. The road out front is busy. It’s an old fashioned cabin with few amenities and bring your own pillows if you can. My pillows were very old. Internet worked fine. There was a Roku if you wanted to log in with your accounts.

What i didn't like: There was a bedspread on the bed but no extra blanket, and the heater didn't stay on. The temp outside got down into the 30"s and we woke up COLD, so left very early to get warm in our car. We would've cleaned off the dishes, but there were no tools to o it with. There was no lighting to read in bed, just a couple of overhead lights. What was good: The decor was homey-looking with pine walls, the bathroom was nice with a good shower, the room was clean.

Location was perfect. Very close to Twin lakes and Elbert mountain. Beautiful trails, lakes and mountains!!!

Lovely little wood cabins! Very cosy inside, bed was super comfy! Ideal for staying over a night. Check in was a key in the door, had free wifi, clean bathroom etc., all the basics covered! Would stay again if passing!
