Skyline Motel

Location and price.

The table in our room was broken. The only bedside lamp didn’t have a good lightbulb. There was no coffee anywhere in the motel. The many large mirrors seemed strange.

Fairly close to Chicago Midway airport; check-in person was friendly.

This property was rated 8.2 on Booking.com so I was expecting a bit more, but- you get what you pay for. There was no blanket on the bed, zero soap and very little toilet paper in the room. Mirrors on the ceiling, headboard, and sidewall were odd. Non-smoking room but smelled a bit smoky. The view is a power plant and truckstop/gas station.

It's not a large motel, but it was clean and comfortable. We felt safe, and the gas station next door had Dunkin' Donuts so fresh coffee wasn't far. The water pressure in the shower was the only thing that needed improvement. The bed is firm, but I slept fine. It is next to a busy road, so I'd say bring a sound machine or a fan. I'd stay here again.

Room Size good. Cleanliness great. Staff, wonderful. Felt safe with fence blocking road view. Expecting simple and basic, and got great simple and basic.

Only one light in the bathroom. Could have used something above the mirror

I really cannot say a plus..the owners seemed nice however not sure of language barriers

The noise of the cars and trucks. The location and power plant buzzing, the fact bed was uncomfortable 1 blanket, pillow was small and only one, the foyer was smelt mouldy and was very dodgy feel.. oh yeah and turn on the TV and porn was on...

The clean factor, most motels are crummy. This one was a gem if you want a decent price close to chicago

Very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again if I come back to Chicago.
