Owner is very nice and hospitable

Breakfast was homemade and amazing. A mix of local fruits directly from the market and homemade Taiwanese sandwiches. Room was extremely comfortable and bathroom was heated! Our flight was delayed 6 hours and Wensing stayed up until past midnight until we arrived. Location was great. We really enjoyed being close to, but not far from Jiufen Old Street. The non-touristy parts of the town are arguably as charming or more charming than the touristic old street.

Eilee was super helpful going out of her way to help us, like meeting us at our taxi and showing us how to get to and from the old street. Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast.

The place was a little difficult to find when I first arrived.

The woman of the house was very welcoming and made great breakfast. The bed was big and very comfy.

The host is very kind and helpful, the room is spacious, it feels like a true home stay.

Unfortunately the neighbor next door and barking dogs were quite loud and we couldn’t sleep at all. I know that the owner can’t do much about it and it’s a shame because otherwise the place is lovely

This place is great! The hostess was very kind and friendly, and she made a fantastic breakfast for myself and the other tenants. She also gave good advice about when restaurants close in the area and which bus to take to my next destination. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It was definitely a good choice for a place to stay!

The property is a bit difficult to find with Google Maps, like many other places in the area near Old Street. Keep an eye out for those pots in the heart shape, and be careful not too go too far up the steps from Old Street. Nevertheless, the location couldn't be more convenient!
