This is a reasonable clean room near the railway station

The room is situated in the second floor in an old rundown apartment house. No elevator. The check-in procedure is fully automatic using several number codes. Not advisable for older people.

the room was really clean, good central location, even though the neighbourhood is sketchy.

location is good.all the essentials are very close.

Breakfast was in the bar near to the accomodation and was delicious. Personal’s behaviour was nice. Room perfectly clean.

Surrounding around the hotel was kinda awfull, I didn’t feel so safe when I was outside.

- clean and secure - host was so helpful and always replied to messages - complimentary coffee pods were a lovely addition - super close to the bus and train station

- the street at night seems a little bit of a rough but we never felt unsafe. The property itself is super safe

Great value for money. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shared kitchen had the basics for making a simple meal, and free drinking water and snacks. The wifi was fast. The location is excellent, just down the road from the train station (but you can't hear it), the bus to the airport departs from the end of the street The owners, Francesco and Gabriele, were super friendly and helpful. It's clear they have a passion for what they do and work hard to make their costumers happy! I'll definitely come back next time I pass through to Catania.

Property description does not correspond to the conditions I found upon arrival. WiFi wasn’t working although it was stated at the property description that it’s available and fully functional. I had arrived from another country and I have no mobile internet abroad: I had to struggle a lot, searching for the free WiFi on the streets of Catania. Next, the gas oven was not working, although it’s present on the kitchen photos! I was not even able to fry some eggs for breakfast. Last, the in-room fridge was working only when I was inside the room! I have left fresh eggs inside, went for a all-day walk and I found them HOT upon arrival inside the fridge! I had to spend extra money for outdoor food, leaving myself with empty pockets just not to be hungry!! Finally, the property owner has written a complaint to the customer service, claiming that I have violated the property rules during the checkout, although NO INSTRUCTIONS / RULES WERE PROVIDED.
