The host Ahmed was spectacular, incredibly accommodating and hospitable. Great location to access nearby attractions like Jabal Shams and Al Hoota Cave. I'd highly recommend the nearby zoo in Al Naseem Park as well. The rooms were super clean and the place was comfortable. Highly recommend this place for travelers!

The property is very neat and clean with a prime location facing mountains and a peaceful city. Professional staff and very kind owner, best place to visit and experience in this part of Oman, much recommended.

Very clean and comfortable, well thought out. The host was amazingly welcoming and willing to spend time with you. He took me to Misfat and showed me some of the old parts of the city.

There were only 3 rooms and as a solo traveler i like to be able to meet others but im not sure that was possible in any other accommodation here either.

We were greeted by the landlord on arrival. The family entered the reception where the the host offered multiple sweet dishes, tea and / or arabic coffee. The reception was clean and comfortable. We relaxed while the landlord arranged our bags and stay in the bedrooms. The 4 bedrooms were aptly named after local historical places. Rooms were clean with new appliances. Please do take your mosquito spray with you!! We were allowed to go sight seeing, leaving our bags in storage. After sight-seeing, we returned to collect our bags. The landlord had arranged a lovely lunch for the family before our onward journey to Muscat. The garden, seating areas and playing areas were nicely laid out for residents.

There was honestly not much to dislike. Everything was better than expected in this little, newly established restroom.

The owner and the housekeeper are very friendly and helpful. They fulfilled all my wishes.

The property is beautiful. It feels (as the owner hopes it will) like a home away from home. But it also feels like a calm and lush Oasis in the middle of the desert mountains next to a lively little city. Everything is a combination of new and/or well thought out, and it's clear Ahmed has taken great care to craft a wonderful experience for his guests. He's there when you need him but will leave you to yourselves otherwise. It's been a long time since I experienced this type of traditional Arab hospitality at a hotel (was my partner's first time experiencing it). Staying here was a delight. It's also a really convenient location -- about 50 minutes from Wadi Damm / 90 minutes from Bat/Al Ayn Beehives... 15 minutes from Misfat al Abriyeen... 40 minutes from Nizwa... and he's arranged so you can get really yummy local food delivered from a nearby restaurant.

The host make us feel at home. He was extremely friendly and helpful with advice about sightseeing, restaurants, and more. The room was great, and I would definitely come back again.
