Domus Maqueda - Pressi Teatro Massimo

We travelled as a family with no kids. The interior was amazing and the room was very clean. We would definitely come back to this B&B in our next Palermo trip.

Only Con: there is no wall between the toilet and the room, you are getting disturbed due to the sound of flushing.

Modern decorated clean room, in the heart of the city.also a cute kithchen for common use with coffee and fresh fruits. The best thing was breakfast at bar gelataria lucchese😍

Annoying nosiy water pomp in the balcony,wakes me up everytime anyone uses water Since it was an old building, the water drain was problematic, it could be better.

The B&B apartment more than clean! The kitchen to be shared for all three rooms was greatfully equiped. Everyday good coffee tabs to an espresso machine, fresh fruit for a juice. In addition a free cleaning service. Nice view balcony to the main street alive until midnight. Breakfast a la carte 5 minute walk to a bakery and cafeteria. Parking house quite near.

No minuses! Best stay in our Sicily trip.

clean and close to the action. the bathroom(shower) was very big and comfortable. The owners were very nice and helpful. The cleaning service was very good.

waterheater outside the balcony was too loud, couldnt sleep with the balcony door open. smaller room than expected from the pictures. Breakfast was a bit limited and not in the same building.

The location is very central, near to many historic places. The breakfast was very good.

The bed was not very comfortable and at night the room could not be dark. The outside of the building was very dirty. Also, there was no place to put your baggages if your flight is later than check out time.

Let’s start with the positives: 1) Location of the apartment is fantastic, right in the center of Palermo and within walking distance of all main attractions and restaurants. 2) Despite its central location and the fact that Palermo is a very noisy city, the double glazed windows kept the noise to a minimum. Something which is quite a common problem with other facilities. 3) Gianpiero was a super host and help us with everything including tips, recommendations and helping us get a parking place for our car 4) The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Other neutral things (al least for us) but worth knowing : - breakfast is in a coffee shop 5 min away. It didn’t bother us and the place was very tasty - you need to go up two flights of stairs to get to the apt and there is no elevator (something quite common in Sicily). Again, not a problem for us, since we travelled with only carry on luggage

1) The entrance is quite run down, BUT this is pretty much a common theme in all buildings in Palermo 2) The apartment is a bit tight for a family of 4 with almost no place to store or hang your clothes. 3) the bathroom walls do not go all the way to the ceiling which means you don’t get much privacy
