Casa Luciuzza

Our stay at this apartment in Syracusa was simply wonderful. The apartment was small but cozy, perfectly suited for our family of two adults and three teenage boys. Everything was meticulously clean, and it was clear that all the furniture, kitchen, and bathroom were brand new. The beds and bed linens were also high quality and very comfortable. The air conditioning unit was very powerful providing a cool and comfortable environment throughout our stay. The kitchen was easy to use and well-equipped, with all the essentials we needed. We especially appreciated the complimentary coffee, tea, and condiments, which lasted our entire stay. The laundry facilities were also top-notch, making our stay even more convenient. The apartment's location was fantastic— next door to the Basilica Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime, the Archeological museum, and the catacombs of San Giovanni, and within walking distance to Ortigia, the Neapolis Archaeological Park, and Archimedes' tomb. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to explore the city. It was also conveniently located near restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. Our experience was made even better by our property manager, Ivana. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Ivana was incredibly helpful, always available for questions and guidance, and she provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and sights to see. It felt like we had a local family member taking care of us throughout our visit. We particularly enjoyed the beach at Arenella, which is just a 20-minute drive from the apartment. It offered a perfect mix of sandy and rocky shorelines. Parking was a breeze as well—there was always convenient parking available near the apartment, even late at night. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Syracusa. Thank you, Ivana, for making our trip so memorable!

The AC unit's condensation filled the water bucket provided very quickly in the small courtyard. A solution would be great to allow that water to reach the drain on its own.
