Siento Oaxaca

The location is amazing and I love all the little Oaxacan touches in the apartment.

There is not much in the way of soundproofing so you can hear when other guests come and go out of the front gate. Also when the guests next door turn the lights on at night they light up your apartment making it hard to sleep.

Location was good once you got your bearings but it was hard to find at arrival because the street was dark and there was no signage. The keys were in a black box on a black door, and it was after dark.

The door to the apartment did not seem that strong and on the first night we felt a bit uneasy. Internally, the metal staircase needed careful footwork because the steps were not like a normal stairs and easy to see. I had a nasty fall on the the tiled bedroom floor directly from the shower. It needs a floor mat of some type. It would have been good to meet a real person on arrival.

Apartment is super comfortable and with all of the amenities one could ask for. Location is superb. And when we did have a slight issue (difficulty opening the lock on front door) and had to message host they responded immediately to resolve our concern. 10/10 would highly recommend

The metal stairs are a bit uncomfortable to walk on barefoot, but this is such a minor issue that I feel bad even mentioning it. Everything else is absolutely perfect

This property was such a great place to stay for a couple. It’s secure clean quiet and has a feeling of vacation but also comfort. Hosts were on top of everything and had so many small details that were perfect. If I could live there I would.

The attention to detail in the flat was beyond anything I have seen before. The staff were extremely responsive on whatsapp. Lock box to enter extremely effective especially as we arrived at 1am. The area is charming and a ten minute walk to the centre of town.

The sofa bed could be more comfortable.

Space was light and airy, beautifully decorated and quite clean. Bed was very comfortable. Choice of air fan or air conditioning. Clear instructions. Complimentary ground coffee (not instant) and a filtered water dispenser so you don't need to buy water bottles. Around 10 minutes to centre. Good local eateries nearby. Encountered some very friendly cleaning staff. Very accommodating team as our arrival time was quite early so they kindly stored our luggage for us. Bonus hammock!

Can get quite noisy at night with dogs barking and overall neighborhood sounds but ear plugs were provided. Toilet seat cover was a bit wobbly.

Everything, this place is incredible. So many beautiful little touches, like the hammock, multiple coffee options, earplugs, and so many more. Easily one of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in.

Attention to detail. Decor. Responsiveness of the host and staff. Proper information. Functionality, comfort and sharpness. High end amenities. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Neighbors.

Excellent location close enough to everything by walking but separated from the all tourist section. Great restaurants in walking distance. 15-20 minutes walk to Zocalo, center of town and markets. Excellent communication with staff who provided many excellent suggestions. Soave was very clean and well equipped with good quality plates, glasses, utensils, etc. excellent local market right around the corner for fresh fruits and vegetables and more.

Pull out sofa bed if needed as an extra bed downstairs is not designed for good sleeping for more than a night. Upstairs regular bed is good for one or two people and for sofa to be used as a sofa during the day rather than an extra bed.
