As a female traveling alone, there was no indication in the posting that the male owner was also staying at the apartment. There was no way to feel safe as the owner had keys to all the doors. Not only does he have keys to all the doors, his bedroom door was six feet from the guest bedroom door. After expressing my concern with the male owner being in the apartment, I offered to leave, instead he offered to stay in his parent's apartment. He asked for more money, but would not allow me to pay through booking.com and instead took $200 dollars from me. The apartment was filthy, cat hair on the filthy sofa, cat poop on the tablecloth and the shower did not work. I left early and went to a hotel as the owner was coming in and out to take care of the cats. This was not a safe situation for a woman traveling along. Additionally, the owner pressured me for more money to pay for city tax, but because my sister was in the hospital, I was exempt from the tax.
