Kukumoa Cabin

It met our purpose. No view. 5 mins drive to beach. One cabin behind a house. 5 mins to drive to town. Too far to walk.

Tv and internet didn’t work though this is likely to be general for this area though listed as available not priced as a ‘cheap and cheerful

It was in a good location for our trip stop.

There were lots of plates but no bowls so you could nt eat cereal for breakfast.

The size of bed and Firmness.

We found two little white notices on a door of the main house. They informed you, that the cabin is behind you, and not to enter the main house. This didn't feel welcome. Opening the door a dark single unit cabin with curtains closed is what greeted us. Not really inviting. The description of the cabin and it's facilities and amenities were deceiving. The description of the cabin promised a balcony with seaview. There is no balcony with a seaview from the cabin. The deck at the front of the cabin was facing the carpark. It had one plastic shabby old chair with a little table and ashtray. There was no view and didn't feel inviting to sit there. The description promises cooking facilities, the hob had not been used for month, dusty and rusty. There was no lighter to ignite the gas hob. A little pan and a very small frying pan would suggest to try to make a meal. There was nothing else to help you cook. The description promised a separate bedroom, there was no separate bedroom. Lounge, bedroom, kitchen and dining area all in one room. The description promised toiletries in the bathroom, there were no toiletries. All in all it was very disappointing and the description of the cabin was misleading. We had booked two nights but decided to leave the next day.
