The Homestead

Location was amazing! Being able to walk across the road to the beach was great!

The villa is in need of a deep intensive clean. Opening the front door their was a musty smell, cobwebs and spiders throughout the house, around window sills. Only one spare toilet roll for a family of 6 for 5 nights. No hand towels, had to ask for both on the first night and they were provided the next morning. No gas bottle for BBQ and the two gas bottles for hot water ran out on the third night. They were replaced immediately, early the next morning. Maintenance required around taps and door hardware. Window to middle room wouldn't stay up.

The location is great, the beach is just across the road. 5 minute drive to shops. 7 minutes to cafes, pub, more shops etc. The kids loved the property as there's plenty of lawn area to play on. Also a nice outdoor deck space. Lots of trees and bush around the property. The house is very well set up with a coffee machine and the best stocked pantry I've ever experienced in an airbnb. Good internet. A very comfortable home and easy to live in. We would definitely book again.

Another toilet would be useful. The tap in the toilet needs to be fitted properly.
