Beautiful place to spend a few days while exploring the area. The owners were incredibly kind to me during my stay. The room is very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your time in Rotorua.

I liked everything.

I liked the whole set up, having a warm welcome upon arrival and knowing that I would have a much better experience than I would have if I slept over in a hotel. Always clean towels, and bedding, and was given a whole run through of where to find everything.

I loved everything about the studio, from the hosts to the location. The feeling of being in the country with town so close was amazing. I was meet by the hosts at the gate, they helped with my bags to the studio which was very clean and had the most comfortable bed and the best shower pressure. I was left in peace to enjoy my privacy , but the hosts were easy to contact if I needed anything. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Breakfast was everything I needed. Location perfect for what I was doing. Karen was lovely, and coming back to find home baking left for me was a nice touch. Cary was really nice too, and helpful when I couldn't get the wifi to work & sorted it out for me. Garden Studio was everything I needed and I would recommend it 1 person or a couple, and would stay again.

The wifi connection was a bit sketchy but got it sorted with help from Cary.

Was a friendly greeting upon entering from Karen & Kerry. I had expected to be arriving late, but did not in the end. They were very accommodating for me either way. Kerry turned the heater on in the unit to make sure it was cosy for me when I arrived, so that was a really nice touch. And a dehumidifier is present too. When I needed an extra towel, this was no trouble at all for Karen to bring out to me. Also I was going out for dinner and Kerry offered to come out when I returned home to help me with the gate to bring my car into the property, due to broken latch. I declined because my car was absolutely fine parked out on the road and it was terribly rainy wet weather to drag anyone out in. The concreted pathway down the side of the house to the unit was well lit for safe night time entry. The property was fully fenced and secure. Very important when a female is staying solo. The variety of breakfast items was good, so nice to have a choice. Everything was clean and tidy. The view of the chook house was entertaining. The bed was super comfortable. Love the decor too!

The unit itself is at the rear of the property so could be tricky for some in wet weather. It does however add to its privacy and security being located there. A small awning above the door would be good to make sure when people are locking or unlocking the door, they don't get soaked in rainy weather. Hot chocolate as a hot drink option would be something to think about for future, now we are heading into Winter. Proper kitchen chairs rather than BBQ chairs would have been preferable for comfortability. I have a feeling the fan in the bathroom may be spinning backwards and pushing mist back in rather than venting out, so I opened the bathroom window to help it out (Don't quote me on that. I'm no expert..lol). The unit would never be suitable for anyone with a disability or limited mobility as it is a really tight space not suitable for wheelchairs for example. I do not have a wheelchair, but thought that would be useful for review purposes only. The WIFI was quite weak (2 bars) so I had to hot spot off my mobile phone, but that wasn't a problem for me.
