Very helpful staff! We arrived at 11 pm and the chef cooked a good dinner for us. The receptionist also was kind. The bedroom is simple, but has a good and hot shower. Good value. Good Wi-Fi in common area. Near Burundi consulate.

The breakfast is very good, but with no western options.

Friendly, helpful staff helped me to arrange transport to Ujiji. Bed comfortable and shower hot. I did not get a chance to try the breakfast as catching an early bus but the room was very good value for money

I did not get an address or directions with the booking and had to rely on a motorbike taxi knowing where it was.

The bed was sagging and the pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was sparse. There was no milk, there was no fruit, they didn't want to make me an omelette. There were only 4 foods: meat, vegetable soup, boiled potatoes and chapati. There was no butter or jam to put on the chapati. I rented a private boat from them to go to Gombe for 250 dollars and it was not the boat that they had shown me in the photo, it was a wooden boat that was flooding and they did not give me a life jacket while going to Gombe.

Superb people running the place. Clean and tidy rooms and toilets. Walkable distance to the city centre, 10 mins. The host can arrange boda boda/tuktuk to the bus station early in the morning for onward journeys such as dar or mwanza. Good WiFi and they have hot shower. The chef is the main man.He cooks delicious food and the most recommended meal is chicken curry and rice. It was too good. The breakfast is decent too.
