The solitude in the middle of nature.

I didn't realize that a ladder was necessary to get to the bedroom. That's ok for younger guests, but it was difficult for my knees and my dog couldn't sleep in the bedroom with me. I ended up sleeping on the couch. Despite that, I would like to return.

There was no breakfast.

You should take this listing off your site. Terrible experience. Uneven stones to enter, uneven stones in living area, rust in bathroom sink, no ice, no microwave, no pan to use in toaster oven, no paper towel or napkins, unheeded cheap gauzy curtain in bathroom, only a ladder to the bed in loft so after my foot injury I was unable to climb, a thin, ratty futon was brought to the cabin and barely fit on the uneven stone floor between two antique couches. I used a couch cushion over the futon to pad it— terrible few hours of sleep, and we paid $188 for this! Bare bulb lamp in kitchen, shade just resting precariously on living room lamp, awful, rutted unpaved road to cabin, view two scraggly trees and a delapidated camper!

door was unlocked with key inside on the table. The property location was fine but the "road" leading to the unit was very rough and not pleasant to drive in my VW jetta.

The floor was very uneven and I rolled my ankle in the bathroom, the ladder leading up to the loft is straight up and down with no way of getting my 45 lb dog up there on my own (the whole reason I booked was to escape 4th of July fireworks). My face immediately exploded in allergic reaction to stuff in the unit - my eyes watering like crazy and sneezing. The final straw was the mice in the property - had to pack up both dogs and myself and flee at about 10pm, unable to stay the night. Hosts have been responsive though and are helping me get a refund.

The private trails on the property were amazing! We had a really wonderful hike.

There happened to be a film crew doing a shoot outside our chalet, which was a tad annoying when we arrived. Someone walked in on us when we were having a private moment. In any case, it would have been nice if we knew to expect this disturbance.
