AUPrivate and quiet location, it takes about 9 mins to get into town by car. There are lots of pet animals to see which are very friendly. The accommodation had everything I needed and is very well fitted out.
I would like to have chatted to Sam and Linden about their life on the farm but unfortunately my stay was only overnight.
AUAUThe property was amazing, well appointed and situated. Owners were lovely and animals and orchard added to the experience.
NZI've been travelling a lot in NZ. Stayed in vwey good places, but this one was the best so far. Nothing to complain, I definetely encourage you to give it a go. There will be no regrets. The owners are kind and veey tidy people. Their place has a lot of space, and the animals juat add up so much to it. Plus the cherry orchard they have. Awesome choice for you seeking for a bit of rest.

FRPerfect stay, the suite was really clean and offered a nice bedroom, a brand-new bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, and a living room with TV and kitchen equipment (microwave and fridge + some coffee, food etc.) The breakfast was nice as well (home-made cherry jam from the orchard and bread, milk, cereals...) Sam & Linden (and Ted, a lovely dog) were really nice and welcoming. They offered us a tour of the cherry orchard and gave us a box full of cherries before we left. Many thanks for the lovely and restful time we spent at The Mathstone!
