"Wonderful hotel with stunning views and amazing staff"

10.0

The staff is wonderful. The hotel is placed a bit off so we mostly stayed in the hotel. We had food, drinks and enjoyed both the pool and the ocean. Nice room with super b AC. Breakfast was super nice A la carte.

The wifi worked really bad or not at all most of the time. We didn't love the outdoor bathroom but I suppose that is a preference.

"Amazing stay"

10.0

After spending four nights in three different hotels/locations in Zanzibar, I can honestly say that this place truly deserves five-plus stars and is a paradise indeed. The location was easy to find, thanks to the signs once you turn off the main road. Check-in was efficient and welcoming, thanks to Sasha, the owner. The entire staff made us feel relaxed and comfortable. A big shout-out to Denis and Alice, the bartenders/servers, for crafting the most delicious cocktails. We left the resort twice to visit Nungwi and immediately regretted it, as we were swarmed by beach boys and people trying to get our attention. The room itself was unique, which is what attracted me when searching for a waterfront hotel. The igloo (or bubble) was spacious, featuring strong AC, a fan, plenty of outlets for charging, a sofa, and both a double and twin bed. The outdoor bathroom took a little getting used to at first, but we didn’t have any issues with it. The food was the best we had on the island, with a variety of great options, including beef pho, fish soup, burgers, and Swahili dishes. The breakfast was decent, with various egg options available. As someone who prefers to explore, I initially thought we would spend less time at the resort. However, it offered so many activities—such as paddleboarding, kayaking, a pool, a jacuzzi, a bar, and a mini gym—that we ended up staying mostly on-site. We also enjoyed playing with the resident cats and dogs. Overall, it was a fantastic way to end our 11 days in Tanzania. The resort was fairly intimate, with only ten igloos, which allowed us to make new friends. Just a tip: be sure to bring beach towels, shampoo, and conditioner.

"Disappointing"

4.0

the view which is unfortunately not possible to see during breakfast. and during the day people are not staying because there is no beach only access to the sea.

The welcoming was unfriendly. The whole location doesn‘t look like on the pictures. bad condition. staff is not flexible at all. luckily, we had a car which allow us to see all the beautiful places around. ;-)

"Good but could be better"

The view from the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. We liked the open spaces and the swimming pool area.

There was no mirror in the room, the bathroom is in the open area(which was a culture shock). We didn't know about it.
