Very nice spot in the city center. Hard to park but very close to everything. The owner very kind and helpful with his recommendations. The apartment very clean and with all the facilities.

Very hard to park the car

The property was gorgeous, a lovely size and spotlessly clean. It’s furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed including a nespresso machine which we used every day. It has a lovely powerful rain shower, comfortable sofa and bed. When we arrived Rosario showed us around and how everything worked - a really helpful host and was available to be contacted throughout the stay. The welcome pack was very generous and delicious! I was staying with my daughter and we both felt completely safe at all times.

The veranda is small and doesn’t have a view, but it is private and warm. And great for sitting in an evening for a chat and also a hot spot for drying clothes quickly.

The apartment met our expectations. Fully equipped with everything you need for a week's stay. Modern, well-furnished, and tastefully designed. Good attention to every detail. Lovely outside area, great location! The host was very welcoming, met us at the door, showed us the apartment amenities, and also provided some restaurant suggestions along with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and traditional Sicilian delicious biscuits. I would gladly come back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in the heart of Catania.

I found the bed mattress not most comfortable as I am used to a hard memory foam mattress. I had difficulty resting as I need a hard mattress after my back operation.

A lovely spacious, clean, modern apartment with all amenities thought of. The apartment is very comfortable with a nice large shower, kitchen, separate living area, one double bedroom, an outside space and air-conditioning. The owner is very welcoming, showed us the apartment amenities and also provided some restaurant suggestions. The building is in a good area for sightseeing, transport links, and plenty of great restaurants within a couple of minutes walk.

Practical and very comfortable apartment with all amenities. Clean and neat, full of attention to detail. The host was very welcoming. He gave advice on nice places to dine, and was available for questions throughout our stay. Loved coming back every evening after long walks in the cities of Sicily. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The appartment is very well placed, clean, tastefully furnished and decorated and very well equipped. The bed is really comfortable, the shower is spacious, there is great water pressure. The place also comes with a little private terrace. The location is well connected from the airport, plenty of lovely restaurants in a walking distance (1-10 minutes), yet the street remains calm (we stayed here in mid-March.) The owner is very responsive, kind and available. I highly recommend Casa Nichitta and would be happy to return.

The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. The apartment is located near the main street, where all possible attractions of Catania are located. It is new, and very neat. Upon arrival, they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and traditional biscuits. The apartment is excellently equipped, has an extremely comfortable bed, and a beautiful terrace. Personally, all the recommendations for a pleasant and long stay in this apartment.

Great apartment, we spent 7 nights here, it is spacious enough for a couple and we enjoyed it. Very well equipped, from Nespresso coffee capsules, tea, to cleaning products or additional towels, and many other details. It is modern, newly rennovated, with good sizes comfortable rooms. Location is perfect, safe and quite neighborhood, close to many restaurants and markets. The host is friendly and comunicative, he welcomed us with wine, water & sicilian cookies.

The terrace size is big for Catania, however it's lacking a view. We still enjoyed it. The apartment has soundproofing issues, as the building is old, you can hear quite loud sometimes the neighbours or the street sounds. Moreover, it needs some more venting before being occupied, because of the building plumbing. We found room scents in the apartment that we used a lot in the first nights which helped.
