Zaffiro house

Vi älskade verkligen den här terrassen, med utsikt över Minori och citronodlingarna. Så fort man klev ut här blev man alldeles lugn och avslappnad, hade kunnat sitta här i timmar och bara njuta av att ta in omgivningarna. Här spenderade vi flera kvällar, utan insyn, vy mot Ravello på andra sidan dalen och till ljudet av kvittrande fåglar. Stort och bekvämt (vi var bara två personer så vi använde inte ett sovrum, men även om vi varit fyra hade vi haft gott om plats). Skön säng, bra AC och välutrustat kök. Bra dialog med värden på Whatsapp innan, vi fick checka in tidigare och blev visade till boendet. En bra minimarket finns precis nedanför trapporna, rekommenderas.

Många trappsteg upp, men det ger också utsikten och avskildheten, så är man bara förberedd på det är det inget problem. Det som drar ner betyget: massa myror och flugor vid ”takfönstret” i badrummet, och en riktigt smutsig tvättmaskin som luktade äckligt och var full med avlagringar, så vi fick lägga massa tid på att försöka göra rent den för att våga tvätta våra kläder.

Zaffiro House was a welcome respite from the touristy Amalfi Coast. My friends and I loved sitting on the rooftop patio to relax and enjoy the views -- the water and the lights of Ravello up in the hills. We also enjoyed the roosters crowing in the morning and the peacefulness of the location. We hung our laundry out just like the locals! Loved this place!!!!!

The only drawback was the 170 stairs we had to climb to get into the house. We're in-shape 67-year-old women and handled them fine, but we weren't aware of this when we booked. (I'd still stay again!!! :)) The owner helped us get our luggage in the door and fortunately, we were traveling with only carry-on bags. In many ways, the stairs were part of the charm, just heads-up if anyone has mobility issues.

We met the owner Mariapia near the apartment. She is a lovely genuine person who showed us around and how everything worked.She even helped with the luggage. The apartment is beautiful and in a lovely location and not overlooked.The large terrace is fantastic day and night. We only used one of the bedrooms and the bed was huge and very comfortable.The apartment has AC units for heating and cooling if needed. It’s the most well equipped apartment we have ever stayed in and would not hesitate in booking again. It a few minutes walk into the centre of lovely Minori which you get buses or ferries to all the towns along the Amalfi coast. There are quite a few restaurants in Minori and Mariapia was always at hand to recommend which ones to dine at. My wife and I had a lovely holiday and would love to stay there again.

Awesome view from terrace!!

Nice, clean apartment with all you need. Amazing, large balcony with a great view. The host is very helpful. She arrange transfer from and to airport and can help you with every need you have. The stairs up totre apartment can be a challenge for som guests, but Minoriis a peaceful, beautifully little town with short way to restaurants, beach, bus and boat transport.

Had an amazing deck overlooking the valley and the water. Comfy bed. Very clean. The apartment offered everything we needed. Our host was very helpful. Arranged parking for us and gave us some tips on where to eat.

We wish we could have stayed longer.

The terrace and the views are amazing! The apartment had everything we needed. The town of Minori is very peaceful and I would like to go back there again. The hostess is very friendly and kind. Thanks for everything!.

Beautiful place on top of mountain of Minori, what you see in the photo that’s what you get. Very nice place a view of mountain and seaside, Marina Pia was very friendly and helpful with everything, we stayed 4 beautiful night. Love the place .

The only thing we were straggling with are the steps, as there are to many steps to get to the place, to advice if you like sport then it is a good exercise for you. That’s the only thing.
