Milles Montagnes Residence

The apartment is sparkling clean with everything you need. Jessie is a fantastic host, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. She also cooks the most amazing food. You only need to walk 10 minutes tonget to the nearest beach and the bus stop to get into Victoria or other places on the island is also close by. We had a great time!

I thought both pillows where a little thick. I prefer more flat pillows. But this was not a big issue.

Spacious and very clean space in a very quiet area with very polite owners. You can have a dinner and buy water from them but we didn’t have cash. It is very close with a car to the really nice beaches and places to eat/have coffee. We are really thankful for the surprise and everything.

Jessy and her family are really great hosts and also organized us passion fruits off season :) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the needed appliances and cooking basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc) Beach towels were provided. Welcoming fruits and juice were really nice. Jessie was super nice and helpful.

There are not that many food options nearby.

I can't say enough. Jessie was FABULOUS! From allowing me to arrive late, and she still got up and let me in, showed me around and had a nice cold towel for me upon arrival, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed fruit juice. She even brought me a coconut the night before I left(Coconut Juice) Honestly, she went above and beyond and I truly appreciated it! I've been traveling the last 13 months and this has been my best experience to date. You will not be disappointed. Plus it was very close to good beaches and restaurants. Bonus- Washing machine!!!

Our stay at Milles Montagnes Residence was amazing ! Jessie is a wonderful hostess, very helpful and caring. Place has everything you need, lovely decorated, kitchen is well equipped and everything is cleaned every day. Air condition works well so does washing machine and iron. The location is about 5 minute work from the beach. Supermarket, restaurants, take aways and fruit market are also close along the way to the beach. The beach is one of the best we’ve been to with wide beach and no many waves. Bus stop is next to the beach and Jessie helped us with bus card. Contact with Jessie through WhatsApp was trouble-free. We asked Jessie to prepare dinner for us one evening and it was delicious, homemade with lots of flavors. We’ve been to few hotels in Mahé and would definitely recommend stay at this place!

The host Jessica was invasive. She often came by the apartment to “sweep” near my door early in the morning. Her daughter was trying to open my door while I was in the apartment to change the trash but didn’t knock first and didn’t even end up changing the trash. She just handed me the new trash bags and waited for me to give her the trash. This happened again with Jessica but she knocked and gave me the trash bags to change the trash. I could of sworn this was a serviced apartment according to the description. Worst part is this apartment has bed bugs that I didn’t even realize was causing all the itching I was doing after two or three days of my stay until I went to the doctor about it not long after I checked out. Jessica and her husband were kind enough to make me food on two occasions, which I appreciated. The room wasn’t cleaned properly during my stay but the housekeeper was nice. I wanted my money back for the bed bug situation but she denied the request. Also, on the last day when I paid her using her card machine (booked directly with her for a lower price) she didn’t respect my decision to insert my card myself. She demanded I show her the expiration date on my card “for her records”. I did not like how she kept insisting to take my card from me and insert it herself saying “it’s not like I’m going to steal your card.” That’s not the point. I’m not sure if it was due to lack of respect since I’m younger than her and she might view me as a child, but that interaction showed her true colors. Wouldn’t stay again. Also, there’s a dog that barks late at night sometimes so that was bit annoying. It’s pretty quiet other than that.
