"Great place!!"

- great breakfast - lots of services (free icecream at the onsen, free ramen from 9 pm to 10 pm etc..) - great location, close to the train station and to the city center - onsen really nice —> private onsen with a majestic view on the city and surrounding mountains - rooms clean and fully equipped with everything you need - friendly staff - free laundry service with free detergent (you have to pay just for the dryer)

- rooms are a bit small (but this is typical japanese) - if you visit Japan in High season you would find the hotel’s private and public onsens always full. We chose a low season period and it was absolutely enjoyable.

"This property was in a great location, rooms clean, and onsens very enjoyable."

This property is very conveniently located, super close to the train / bus station. We enjoyed both the public and private onsens, all of which have lovely views of town and surrounding mountains. Special perk was the foot bath outside the hotel that helped soothed the feet after hours of walking around the delightful town. We also liked the convenience of vending machines, ramen, ice cream, and laundry.

"Groot stadshotel maar met een typisch Japanse sfeer."

Bij aankomst in het hotel schrokken we een beetje omdat we veel groepen toeristen in de lobby zagen. We kwamen snel in de Japanse sfeer toen bleek dat we onze schoenen in een kast aan het onthaal moesten achterlaten om op kousenvoeten op de tatami te kunnen lopen. De kamer was typisch Japans ingericht, intiem en rustgevend. Auto werd geparkeerd in een parking-toren.

In het hotel viel er niets echt tegen. Takayama zelf was een ontgoocheling: het gaat kapot aan zijn succes. Het staat vol hotels terwijl er niet zo heel veel te zien is. Bezienswaardigheden waren dan ook overdruk. Hida village met veel gereconstrueerde oude huizen even buiten Takayama is wel een aanrader en relatief nog rustig.

Todas las cosas que tenían y el trato.

Que la habitación estaba sucia, con polvo en todas las superficies y arena en el tatami.
