AUThis place was fabulous. It was in a private home You walk in to beautiful gardens and flowers. The unit was clean as a whistle and the kitchen was equipped with all electrical appliances that you would need including an air fryer. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bedroom was equipped with not only cupboard space but also a chest of drawers for your clothes. It had a private back entrance overlooking beautiful views and the kitchen dining room had sliding doors opening to the garden. It was a very quiet and peaceful venue. EXCELLENT!
One or two small suggestions which would make a difference. It would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge for our first night. Some placemats for hot plates and cups. Shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. Some facial tissues in the bathroom and perhaps some hot chocolate satches for those that don't drink tea or coffee but all in all a wonderful place to stay.
NZThe bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent. The unit was immaculate upon arrival. There was plenty of space in the fridge, and plenty of bench / table space. There were no issues at all with the WiFi internet. There are nice views (and a well manicured garden) overlooking Whakatane township, as well as an assortment of birds and other wildlife. Hot chocolate and tea-making equipment/facilities were very much appreciated. There was also plenty of cooking equipment available (e.g. microwave, air fryer), however, I did not use these as I dined out in the township with friends and family.
I could not quite figure out how to get the free-to-air channels working, however, Netflix was working fine. There are no curtains or blinds in the passageway / hallway between the bedroom and the bathroom (however it appears there may have been at some point in the past?)
AUSmall but functional kitchen. Clean bathroom and large bed. Great location near town and beaches. Easy self check in.
