Lovely house with very beautiful decor and art. Very functional for our family of 7. Felt like an authentic Japanese living experience.

Some rooms did not have blinds so it was very light when the sun came up at 5am.

We loved the authentic Japanese experience. Very thoughtful of the host to stock the kitchen with beautiful, but heavy, Japanese crockery. There was a couple Japanese outfit too. The communication was easy.

The storage space was a bit less. There was only 1 bathroom and sink which delayed us a bit as a group.

Could not find the downstairs bathroom with the shower, took a while to find but eventually did

Loved the feeling of the neighborhood and staying somewhere that felt authentically Japanese. From the moment you left your shoes at the door, the space seemed almost sacred yet completely comfortable.

This was a true Japanese experience, at least as far as I can tell. It is all very tiny and authentic. Can highly recommend.

The guestbook app does need some improvements. It was quite difficult to upload all the passports.

Location is excellent! Very close walking distance to kyoto train station. Just 1 min to family mart and 7 e. House is very clean and beautiful. Thanks for the hospitality!
