Breakfast was provided for an additional 10 euro pp. downstairs from our room. Large doors opened up to a grapevine covered terrace, a delightful room. Breakfast was fantastic with juice, coffee/tea, a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, tarts, bruschetta, eggs (cooked your way), cheeses, prosciutto and pickled vegetables. Anna was efficient, always happy and despite our not being able to speak Italian we had many laughs together. The room was very large and spotlessly clean. Ceilings were super high. The bathroom was huge with a climb in bath/shower combination and as an older couple we needed to be careful. The view from our room was terrific and overlooked grapevines (the room on the other side of the building overlooked the olive grove) and rolling hills and other small hill towns. There was a small bar fridge for drinks but no kettle or coffee and tea making facilities. There is a shared verandah between the two available rooms with lovely views while in the room there is a Juliet type balcony with huge doors. The nights were so peaceful and in the morning there were many bird calls. In the breakfast room there are photos of the reconstruction. Several close towns with a nunnery and a tower were very interesting. Gesualdo is so cheap for wine and good food with very friendly people who are not used to tourists.

We loved everything, it was perfect and would definitely recommend this accommodation. We had a car but to get to Gesualdo there were no workable train or bus options.

Il posto è bellissimo, immerso nella natura..

Non tutte le finestre avevano le zanzariere, inoltre era sprovvista di condizionatori, ad oggi nel 2025 lo trovo fuori dal mondo, soprattutto con queste temperature negli ultimi anni, posso capire che ad Avellino non sempre serve accenderlo, ma se sei un b&b devi fornite il servizio perché se capita come è capitato a noi, al piano superiore, si boccheggiava, mi sono svegliato alle 6 praticamente in un bagno di sudore nonostante il ventilatore che non faceva altro che spostare aria calda, non ho riposato bene naturalmente e ho dovuto affrontare il viaggio di ritorno in auto guidando per 300km a rischio di colpi di sonno, disagio e pericolo di cui avrei fatto volentieri a meno, detto questo tutto sommato per il prezzo pagato e i servizi offerti, mi sarei almeno aspettata la colazione inclusa nel prezzo.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, heel gastvrij en behulpzaam. Een fantastische plaats met een schitterend uitzicht. Het ontbijt was zeer lekker
