Bathroom not maintained properly, water coming out. Facilities not upto the mark: water kettle not provided after several requests Staff attentiveness : kitchen gas stove don't worked, staff has not done anything, didn't even respond to the call & messages

Well located & price

On Booking.com, the check-in time was listed as 3:00 PM, but we were informed it would actually be at 3:30 PM. However, when we arrived, the apartment still wasn’t ready and was only available at 4:00 PM. We had a minibus scheduled for 4:30 PM, leaving us with no time to freshen up before heading to the thermal baths. The apartment was poorly cleaned, with stained carpets, mold-covered tiles in the shower, and cockroaches in the kitchen sink. The towels provided were old and worn out, and there were no hand towels in the toilet area. The shower had very low water pressure, and the curtains were so thin that people from outside could see in clearly, offering no privacy.

The whole place smelt so badly of stale cigarettes. We struggled to sleep properly because the bedding smelled so bad. The sheets also didn’t look clean, and were so bad on the sofa bed that my friend had to share with me. We deliberately got somewhere with three separate beds so we wouldn’t have to share! The host also seemed unwilling to do anything about it, or even offer us a partial refund. They just said it was the previous people so nothing they could do. It’s also underground, so not at all bright like the photos. We nicknamed it The Dungeon. Honestly it was awful.

This apartment would he a good option IF they would open all windows daily so the air can circulate, if they clean it properly (top to bottom), if they buy some new pillows and towels. And because i can see from other reviews that the owner will call us liers (like we have anything to gain), here is a photo of the humidifier and tell that this has be cleaned in the past 6 months.

The location was very convenient to visit the attractions of Bucharest and within a reasonable walking distance from the old city. The area also offers a variety of choices for food and shopping as there are many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops, The host is always available and very helpful if anything is needed.
