Punakaiki Beachfront Motels

The hotel’s location is fantastic within walking distance to the Pancake Rocks, right on the beach for enjoying sunsets, and very close to a pub with good food. The houses themselves are spacious and generous in size, offering plenty of room.

However, the accommodation is in need of renovation and we were disappointed with the cleanliness. This made it hard to feel completely comfortable during our stay. While the location is excellent, the overall experience was affected by these issues.

Location next to sea was lovely. Property was fairly large and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.

Room and bathroom were a bit tired and tatty in places. It was not easy to get booked in as had to go to pub in a different street to book in.

Clean, excellent location, large suite.

Check in was a little confusing as the motel seems to have a couple of different names.

Sehr gut gelegen für Wanderungen in den Regenwald und die Besichtigung der Pancake Rocks. Ruhig und direkt am Strand. Ideal für den Sonnenuntergang.

Historisches Cottage; insgesamt sowohl hinsichtlich Einrichtung wie Bausubstanz doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Self contained little paradise. Very clean and modern. Good location to restaurants and beach.
