"Stay away"

Close to the beach. Wish we had the opportunity to go there. Unfortunately we had to book out the same day we booked in. Disappointing experience for us.

When we got back from dinner, the place was filled with chemically smelling smoke. Thank goodness it didn’t happen while we were asleep, who knows what would have happened. Extremely dangerous. The managing agent, named Claudia, promised to pay us back on the owners behalf, but has since then decided to ignore us. Not that paying us back makes the accommodation any safer, but they went back on their word of which we have written confirmation. According the photos from which we booked we had a second floor apartment but we were placed on the ground floor. The one bathroom only had 1 of 4 lights functioning - the other bathroom 1 of 2. One toilet paper roll for 2 days stay. Kitchen sparsely fitted with aging appliances. We had to travel to Port Elizabeth late at night to find other accommodation. The stay leaves a bad taste in our mouths to say the least.
