HelloAPULIA - Sea View Terrace Conchiglia

The location in centro storico was good, close to many restaurants and great views from the roof and windows. The apartment is large and allows your guests to spread out to find their own space.

Unfortunately there are quite a few dislikes that really hamper this apartment. The air-conditioning placement means even in bedrooms it still gets incredibly hot and stuffy despite not being mid July to August weather. The beds are poor to say the least, the mattress quality is sub-standard and rather uncomfortable. For an apartment that is close to €300 a night it is not up to that level. The couches were rock hard, harder than the beds, felt like sitting on concrete, in addition to that they were covered with seat protectors because all the vinyl had peeled off. There were two single mattresses on wooden box crates, granted it was listed as a futon type set up but really, box crates? The shower is incredibly tight, and the water pressure from the nozzle was weak. Didn't use the kitchen all that much but, there was mismatch of utensils that didn't really fit with what you would expect to be in a kitchen. The TV was the size of a computer screen, not a huge issue but, it is quite old and dated. One of the biggest issues were the mosquitoes, despite spraying copius amounts of fly spray, the first night alone i was bitten some 40 times because of the gaps in fly wire and the insane amount that every day live at the top of the steps near the apartment door so you have to walk through dozens just to get inand out. I dont know what is causing them to all be concentrated there but it is really unpleasant and fly spray isnt enough to control them. Finally the pictures don't match the furniture, which is deceiving and frankly pretty disappointing, this apartment isn't being rented out for pennies yet potential renters are being lied to, it puts a dampener on the whole holiday experience when you are sold a lie.

Fabulosa !!! Con una ubicación excepcional y con una terraza que vale su precio en oro!! Es muy amplia y cómoda a pesar de tener un solo baño.

Las escaleras!! Son más de 50 escalones desde la calle hasta la terraza, esto debería ser anunciado ya que podría ser un problema serio para muchos huéspedes inadvertidos.

The only thing good about this apartment was the beautiful terrace over looking the sea.

This is the worst property I have ever booked in 20 years on booking.com.Where do I start. £800 for 3 nights a tacky scruffy property up very badly lit 2 flights of steep steps ,1 outdated bathroom and toilet ,2 bedrooms with old furniture which had been badly painted a stained painted hall table which I had to put a table cloth on badly laid out longe with old sofas which were stained and covered in throws dining room should have been the longe as it had a sea view. No umbrellas up on terrace for shade A deposit of250 which the company keep for 25 days. Iam still waiting for it. I should have known it only had 2 reviews. Do not book this apartment it’s much too expensive for such a shabby place .
