The main appeal of this place is the view of Mt. Kinabalu that is on offer. You will want a rental car to be visiting here, there is free parking on location. The room was nice, towels provided, wifi ok, shower decent, AC worked fine (but you won't need it at nighttime) and there was some body soap provided. There is a small restaurant just down the hill (walking distance but slippery if raining due to steepness).

Sound proofing is not good, but I had quiet neighbours. Driveway is steep but this is not a problem in a car, if walking though (for example to get food somewhere) and it rains, then it's slippery. There was no breakfast option when I was there, had to walk or drive. No water refills anywhere. Beds were a little bit hard and it could do with another blanket on some nights as it gets chilly with the hilltop location.

Alleen de locatie is wel oké. 15min van Mt Kinabalu en Kundasang is natuurlijk ook dichtbij.

Het bed was keihard. We hadden voor 3 nachten geboekt maar zijn er maar 1 gebleven. Het heet “homestay” maar heeft meer de sfeer van een hostel. Het personeel is er meer niet dan wel. Die hebben niet eens doorgehad dat wij al weg waren. We konden de sleutel pas een dag later inleveren omdat ze er de dag ervoor niet waren. Thema’s kunnen kwestie van smaak zijn maar de goede recensies hier snap ik echt niet.
