Buckingham Place Guesthouse

I have never seen or experienced anything worse, I thought the foor was going to cave in any point in time, there was stuff broken, dirty, I didn’t use the shower because it was disturbingly dirty, bathroom curtains was dirty and mouldy, when I opened the bed covers there was stuff, dust particles and stuff, the floor has massive cracks, it’s wobbly, the door handle is broken, took 10min for the lasy to figure out how to lock it. Honestly felt like i was in a bad movie,

My parents in law stayed at the manor that i booked. The staff were friendly and tried to make the best of what they got. We didn't expect breakfast but it was nice.

When we dropped off my in laws the first thing I noticed was the clutter in the cabinet and the place was dark. They could have upgraded my parents in law as the price we paid for the room we got was not worth it and it didn't see full. The place was borderline clean and needed to be dusted. The bedding was okay. My mom-in-law said she would have preferred her own bedding.

John was an amazing host. He was always willing to give additional info regarding surrounds etc. Always greeted with a smile. He really gives the place the warmth. Thank you John

there where no one at the front desk and I had to walk to the kitchen to see if I could find someone to book me in. The bedding was not clean, and the room overall, no security in front of the windows. The security gate where you park your car did not work. The room still have the old box TV. We ask for at least a fan in the room but they could not find a place to plugged it in. We decided not to overnight !! We left and found another place to book in.

Amazing stay. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is very comfortable and the garden creates a beautiful ambiance. Would 100% recommend a stay at buckingham place guesthouse.
