Beautiful building. Great location. Responsive staff.

The room furnishings and items were very very old. I do not think a mattress could have an expiration date but ours definitely had passed it and the mattress needs to be replaced — it had a strong odor. But not even an odor from a spill or other person: a smell of must, dust, and age. So we had to sleep with the balcony open to get and keep the smell out of the room but this also invited mosquitoes (out of the host’s control obviously) into the room during the night. The towels were torn and full of holes. The sheets were clean but very stained. New mattress and linens would have been a game-changer because otherwise it is a good location in a simple but pretty building in a sleepy fishing village. We knew it was a relatively rural small village so we had no high expectations of amazing service or amenities or extra comforts. But a mattress that causes the guests to not sleep and towels that tear when unfolded are the very very very basics that should be addressed.

Location was great, staff was nice

Issues with running water (didn't have a flushing toilet or showers multiple times throughout the stay), no breakfast was offered even though it's a b and b.
