Vince appartement Culemborg

Mooi en schoon appartement midden in het oude centrum van Culemborg. Erg aardige gastheer. Door ziekte moest ik annuleren naar kon zonder problemen de datum verplaatsen, top !

Heel attente en fijne gastheet. Appartement is heel goed verzorgd, in een heel mooi oud pand en compleet ingericht.

De trappen naar boven zijn dus ook zoals ze waren in een 19e eeuws huis

The host was super friendly and informative, The apartment was very clean and in the town centre. The parking was good and very close by. However we only found it after the host told us where it was. Perhaps a slightly more detailed explanation in the description would be useful. The cooking facilities were good. The neighbourhood was quiet. There was a nice view from the windows.

There were a lot of stairs. Then again we are both in our late 60's so this shouldn't be an issue for younger people. Our host helped with our luggage which helped.

We loved the location- very close to the centre of old Culemborg and easy to find. We loved the apartment which is in a beautifu, historical l Dutch townhouse. The apartment had everything we needed and more, plus a beautiful view from the window and the terrace. Gerald was very helpful and told us about the town of Culemborg itself. We wished we were staying for longer than one night!

The traditional Dutch stairs were quite steep and a totally new experience! But these will form part of my memories of the Netherlands - a real insight into Dutch architecture in historical buildings.

The location

Gerry, the host, was amazining. He helped us with geting our luggage up 3 flights of steep stairs. He spent time telling us about the local history, attractions and facilities of his town. On the morning of departure he helped us again with our luggage. Gerry went out his way to make our stay the best it could be.

No utensils for the new non stick cookware. All were metal apart from one very small platic spoon.
